Excell has identified Hyderabad as one of the cities where optical fibre cable network is to be deployed in all core areas and to multiple storied buildings and office complexes for providing bandwidth on demand and also to extend fibre to home.
It Started Fibre - to - Home project in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and will offer broadband access network to extend reliable high bandwidth to both home users and corporate customers.
The network serves about 50 Square KM area of Twin Cities. This network is scalable both in absorbing oncoming technology and also to expand to urban agglomeration around the city as it spreads. In order to provide efficient services the entire area was divided into Mega Nodes of 4 Square KM area each which are further sub-divided into 4 sub nodes to reach the last customer within the sub node.
This ensures perfect transmission without distortions and disturbances.While the project, which involves extensive optical fibre cable network, has been already completed in posh Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills and the Hitch City, other areas around the twin cities are to be covered shortly.
The network is laid above ground on Company's own poles and consists of 400 KM Fibre Optic Cable backbone and about 250 KM Trunk and Sub-trunk cable lines. The lines are equipped with high quality imported 2-Way Line Extenders supported by appropriate power back-up and the Nodes with Mega flex 4 Port Optical Nodes with other back-up equipment - all imported.
The ISP Solution (Internet) is well integrated with Cable Modem System with Master Controller, IBM Servers, Routers, Switches and RAD Modems installed under packaged services of renowned Internet Experts and equipped with appropriate software.
The Transmission Center at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad is like-wise equipped with high quality imported electronic gadgets with different configurations, which are capable of providing packaged and dedicated services to all the following segments of the city with equal efficiency round the clock throughout the year. |
